What To Expect
This challenging loop begins with a steady climb through old-growth forest before reaching the alpine meadows of Garibaldi Provincial Park. From there, you'll visit the iconic Panorama Ridge for breathtaking views over Garibaldi Lake and surrounding glaciers before continuing to the base of the legendary Black Tusk. After taking in one of British Columbia's most recognizable peaks, the hike finishes with time to relax beside the brilliant turquoise waters of Garibaldi Lake before returning to the trailhead.

Snow may remain on Panorama Ridge into mid-summer, and trail conditions can vary throughout the season. The optional Black Tusk scramble is only attempted if conditions are safe and all participants are comfortable proceeding.
